I know its been asked before but where is the best chrome platers around here? How long do they take to turn stuff around? Do they have a minimal amount they will do? And while i'm on what about powder coaters? Cheers. |

Not sure about chrome platers but had the seat frames for my van powder coated at Betta Blast at Shiremoor. They did a good job in a couple of days turnaround. |

Turnsbulls in ashington no longer exists i was talking to a bloke on saturday who used to work for them, the best place is in carlisle: Cumbria Plating Services 5 Currock road Trade Centre Carlisle Cumbria CA2 5AD 01228 819324 cps@cumbriaplatingservices.co.uk http://www.cumbriaplatingservices.co.uk/ Expect lead time to be 12 weeks plus. Yep billy at bettablast for powder coating, but theres also Elite in walker or northumbria coating in cramlington, if you want to splash the cash AMD on the team valley. |

Adam, I got mine done and Cumbria plating, good job but not cheap, eg seat adjusters for 356/912 seats £32 each (4 per seat), split widow frames (doors) £120 each.... DAve |

forgot about this place we got some quotes done at work for anodising and didn't realise it was on our door step. I don't know for sure if they do chroming but worth a call me thinks.
