Not completely new on here as some of you may have seen my caddy that I built



This have now been sold.

I was supposed to buy the wife a new beetle but some how after floating around on VZI I came across this in Rotherham being sold by a guy who built it for his 15 year old son. His son then said he wants a Mini so the beetle had to go. But the most important thing was that the guy built this for his son so it's had the major stuff like floors, sills and heat exchangers renewed! Along with new body panels (the ones that needed replaced anyway). Recon'd brakes and a fully rebuilt 1641cc engine. Paint is new but a little thin on some parts and the drivers door has a tiny blemish on lower corner of the door. It also needs a new rear lower panel (where exhausts poke out under) as this does not line up with rear wings at the bottom, why go to the effort of replacing panels and not making them line up correct? So a little bit to do on the body put its solid and looks very presentable and will be able to put my own touch on this to make it mine.

Also interior needs done as no carpet and original seat covers in along with a very soft/ collapsed? Drivers seat (if anyone has a spare please let me know).

Good to see another 66. When you do the rear valance make it removable, easy to do and still look standard. Looking nice
