Took a week of work last week and got a proper start on the car, still lots to do but got a fair chunk of it done :wink:

Started of with a genuine vw irs chassis



Removed the slushbox and fitted heavy duty floorpans and naps hat





Body on its wheels for the first time in many years



Passenger side channel and door pillar out



New ones in





Drivers side channel and pillar out (this side was much worse) :(



New ones in





Old back end off









New one on







Front end off







New one in place ready to be welded







and thats as far as i got and back to work now :(
Hoping to get the welding finished next weekend then the body is off to be painted and the floorpan stripped and off to be blasted and coated.

All panels in now so just a bit welding to finish off then its body back off and off to the painters :D
