Glad to join your guys forum. For now, I own a 1997 Jetta (1.9L). This is the first vehicle I own, and it's kinda new to me. Of course, I spent plenty of time with my dad in the garage. Anyways, now fixing the vehicle is my own duty, so registered on yalls guys forum hoping to find some help and grab ideas and experience from the posts which are in here already.
Here is what I wanted to ask you guys. My Jetta is diesel, 1.9 L, and I was told to grab new engine wiring for it (connecting to the glow plugs). I was just wondering, is it fine to get an aftermarket set on it? As parts from the dealership are kinda costly, so wanted to save on the repair, but at the same time put the new wiring on.
What's your ideas on this?
