A new one day classic VW rally open to all clubs and VW enthusiasts to show their air cooled classic Volkswagen cars and campers as well as being free to the general public.
To enter your classic VW will require a small charge but for this you will get a free rally t-shirt, no parking charge for your classic and the chance to win a prize for best in show (several categories to be decided).
Entry will be free to the general public (There is a £3.50 Woodhorn Museum parking charge) and we are hoping that any profits generated by the rally and the volunteer organisers will be be donated to the best in show’s chosen charity.
At the end of the rally there will be a cruise somewhere with all show cars welcome to leave in convoy before heading home etc. Ideally we had thought about heading towards Whitley Bay / Tynemouth in homage to Tynemouth Classic Volkswagen Rally which isn’t taking place this year and why we are trying to get this rally up and running instead.
Come to stay over at druridge bay, coquetfest is on that weekend, camping and bands etc
